Pay range: $56.00 - $66.00/hour
The Project Manager will oversee strategic execution, project management, and governance, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure successful project delivery. This role encompasses feasibility and risk analysis, resource and budget management, and regular progress reporting. The Project Manager will align project milestones with business objectives, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Governance and Leadership:
- Support governance, including updates to the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) and project sponsors, and prepare materials with project leadership.
- Facilitate alignment across teams to streamline project operations.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop, track, and manage the project plan, budget, and timeline to meet key milestones, supporting both sustainment and new therapeutic area (TA) initiatives.
- Design and oversee change management and communication strategies, ensuring clarity across all phases.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting:
- Coordinate with stakeholders across functional areas, maintaining communication and providing progress updates.
- Prepare and present reports for the CLT, sponsors, and core teams, aligning narratives and key updates with program goals.
- Identify and mitigate critical risks across functions and teams, ensuring compliance.
- Address issues proactively, tracking progress and resolving interdependencies to ensure smooth project advancement.
- Support for Cross-Functional Task Forces:
- Lead the creation and chartering of cross-functional task forces to address emerging issues (e.g., global-local content creation, medical-legal compliance).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multi-team coordination.
- Expertise in governance, budget management, and cross-functional team leadership.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Additional Notes:
- 6+ years of project management experience leading and coordinating complex, multi-country projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to host and manage weekly project meetings, track action items, and maintain risk logs.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically project planning tools such as MS Project, Excel, and Smartsheets.
- Proven ability to work effectively with employees from various functional areas.
- Understanding of healthcare systems and their influence on the pharmaceutical business and products is preferred.
- Therapeutic Area knowledge is a plus.
