Our client is a Top 20 global pharma company pivoting to innovative medicines and are expanding their pipeline to focus on core therapeutic areas including neuroscience, immunology, and immuno-oncology.
Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Immunology and GI to steer clinical development strategies within these therapeutic areas. This leadership role involves guiding a team of clinical leads and physicians to drive the advancement of clinical programs.
Requirements:
- MD required. MD/PhD preferred.
- 5 years minimum experience in clinical development within the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on immunology and/or gastroenterology.
- Expertise leading late stage (Phase 2-3) clinical programs
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of clinical research plans and programs, ensuring alignment with established design principles.
- Supervise Study Directors and oversee the progression of studies from protocol design through to final reporting, including the analysis of clinical data.
- Organize Advisory Board meetings, set agendas, and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather strategic and scientific insights.
- Provide clinical expertise for regulatory documentation, including briefing books and New Drug Applications (NDAs).
