Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- 1-3 year’s experience with rotating equipment or turbo machinery
- Experience with rigging
Job Duties:
- Document and perform basic reassembly and dismantling of equipment using proper tooling and processes to complete all work in a safe and timely manner to meet customer needs
- Work in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Read and interpret prints and drawings.
- Follow verbal commands and leadership direction.
- Understanding of use for tooling, drawings, work scopes, procedures, specifications and documentation to perform the primary function of the job.
- Conduct processes for repairs.
- Operate forklifts and cranes.
- Basic knowledge and capacity to learn how to use various measuring devices: micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges, and other required tools necessary to perform the job.
- Ability to learn to accurately measure and record all dimensional inspections as needed and pass annual dimensional inspection tests within a reasonable amount of time.
- Ability to learn and process documentation associated with turbo machinery such as inspection reports, photo logs, and hold tags.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Accepts ownership over work performance and works to improve skill set.
