Key Responsibilities:
Calendar Management: Manage complex calendars for multiple attorneys, scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and other essential appointments.
Deadline Tracking: Calculate and calendar case-related deadlines to ensure accurate and timely filings.
Document Preparation: Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence for attorneys, demonstrating high attention to detail.
Trial Preparation: Handle trial document preparation and procedures; experience with Law and Motion a plus.
Draft Discovery: Assist in drafting discovery responses and requests.
File Management: Maintain an organized client database and manage client files throughout the case lifecycle.
Client & Counsel Communication: Engage professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to facilitate effective case management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 4 to 5 years in Plaintiff Personal Injury, with strong trial and litigation support skills.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook; knowledge of TrialWorks is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Organization & Multitasking: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle time-sensitive documents in a busy environment.
Court Rules & Procedures Knowledge: Advanced understanding of court rules, discovery processes, and trial calendaring.
