Job Overview:
Everest Place is seeking an experienced FF&E Director to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. Reporting directly to the Development Director, the FF&E Director will oversee the procurement, delivery, and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for our projects. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within defined budgets and timelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with designers, manufacturers, and our development team to ensure project success.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure clear communication and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate with designers and consultants on specifications and selections.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors.
- Prepare budgets, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Manage project cash flow and reconcile vendor invoices.
- Oversee project documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Travel to project sites for installation oversight and issue resolution.
- Provide recommendations for process efficiencies.
- Conduct job costing and profit analysis.
- Prepare and submit project closeout documentation.
Expected Contributions:
- Plan and execute procurement activities in support of real estate development.
- Collaborate with procurement and design teams to meet project requirements.
- Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with procurement standards and policies.
- Support property operations teams with procurement services and warranty management.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hospitality procurement experience, with team management preferred.
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong multitasking abilities and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with a process-driven approach.
- Ability to delegate to others.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
- Comfortable with occasional travel and construction site visits
- Experience in managing projects within established budgets and timelines.
- Previous interaction with external customers and resolving support issues.
