Project Coordinator V
Location: Mounds View, Minnesota
Compensation: $41/hr. (based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Support Specialist to provide key project and program
support for a functional team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing projects, tracking
budgets, and ensuring the smooth execution of program activities. This position involves a mix of
administrative, technical, and organizational support duties to help drive the success of key
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project & Program Support: Assist with the planning, monitoring, and execution of projects or programs within the department, ensuring alignment with established timelines and budgets.
- Tracking & Reporting: Gather, compile, and analyze data for reports, tracking progress against project schedules and budgets.
- Process & Documentation Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of program/system guidelines and procedures. This may include documentation, data extraction, data review, and tracking.
- Technical Support & Training: Provide technical support, including system training, documentation, and troubleshooting assistance as needed for staff or teams.
- General Office Support: Provide administrative or clerical support to team members, including managing communication and document organization.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project success, ensuring alignment across functions.
- Problem Solving & Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing processes or systems, recommending and implementing adjustments to enhance effectiveness.

- Autonomy & Problem-Solving: Recognized as a subject matter expert in the role, handling complex tasks with minimal supervision. Able to propose creative solutions and process improvements to support the team’s objectives.

- Leadership Support: May act as a team leader or provide coaching and support to junior team members. While not directly managing others, provides valuable input into team processes and performance.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in managing projects, systems, and processes.
- Knowledge of Organizational Operations: Strong understanding of company operations, gained through hands-on experience, to support the development and administration of program/system guidelines.
- Technical & Administrative Skills: Proficient in project support, system documentation, data review, and tracking. Knowledge of office support functions and the ability to adapt to different support needs is essential.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across functions to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
