Our client is an industry leader looking for a motivated sales professional to spearhead new business across Northeast TN. This individual will take over approximately $1M in existing business with an emphasis on growing the company's footprint amongst educational institutions in the area.
In this role, you will lead new business efforts for the company across your territory and be a fundamental part of our overall growth. You must have a strong moral compass and be a GOOD person who enjoys building new relationships, thinking strategically, being collaborative, adapting to change, and having the drive to succeed. The successful candidate will be a lead voice in driving productivity and profitability to set sales targets and drive sustainable, profitable growth aligned to the strategic business plan.

This role is primarily listening, understanding, and being helpful to buyers. A large part of selling is education and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Achieve annual sales goals outlined by the company and consistently grow our customer base to meet the Company’s financial objectives within your designated area
- Monitors and analyzes educational trends across the designated area
- Increase account sales through proactive outreach within a designated area to prospective customers using the sales process to effectively identify, initiate the appropriate contacts and make sales presentations
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
- Maintain existing business
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 - 4 years' prior industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
