About the Role:
The Account Manager has the responsibility of developing and managing and relationships and metrics with key customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect potential customers
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and understanding their needs.
- Identify market trends & shifts, providing insights and recommendations to the customer and internal teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and engineering to ensure customer needs are met
- Manage key accounts' metrics and objectives for success
- Inform customers of product line, capabilities, and value proposition
- Source new sales opportunities through customer needs
- Relay voice of customer to other appropriate parties internally
- Address customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions
- Provide quotes to customers for requested product
Qualifications:
Account management and business development experience
Experience in the material handling industry
Strong communication and presentation skills
Negotiation and closing skills
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
