Shipping Specialist located in Keokuk, Iowa
6 Month contract that includes benefits
Rotating 12 hour shift, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
$1,000 sign on bonus
$2,000 bonus at end of project
The Shipping Specialist will be responsible for managing scale and system operations of raw materials from our suppliers to the proper areas and finished product to our customers, coordinate and secure adequate equipment for movement of dry packaged product to our warehouse to ensure uninterrupted plant operations, maintain and manage timely rail switches to ensure continuous plant operations, coordinate and establish optimal safety within the plant by following policies and procedures set forth, and provide 24/7 plant-wide cross-functional support.
Associate Degree in business or related field and/or equivalent experience with functional teams.
Must be self motivated, strong organizational skills, dependability and attention to detail.
Must be proficient with MS Office products
Prefer candidates with SAP
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
