Recharge Recruitment are working with a leading solar developer who are looking for a Senior Project Development Manager to join their team and lead the expansion into a new market. The organization specialize in utility scale solar and are now looking to develop projects in ERCOT and with a strong pipeline in place already, need an ambitious individual who has previous experience managing multiple solar projects from inception to NTP. They are looking for talented developers who thrive in an autonomous environment, enjoy working at a fast pace and want direct contact with the leadership team.
About the Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in identifying potential acquisitions of project development assets.
- Travel to project sites to engage stakeholders and evaluate site conditions.
- Evaluate projects based on technical and financial criteria.
- Support in preparing project scopes, estimates, and technical documents.
- Manage all project activities during development, including bid documents, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify and resolve issues within the project lifecycle, devising risk mitigation plans.
- Oversee project development processes like licensing, permitting, and interconnection.
Qualifications
Will have at least 4 years experience in utility scale solar project development and is comfortable leading from origination to NTP. Experience and relationships in ERCOT will be an advantage and the ability to work autonomously is essential.
Experience working in renewable energy is essential!
Pay range and compensation package
$160,000 - $190,000
