Caruso Homes is a leading homebuilder dedicated to providing exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our On Your Lot (OYL) division in Raleigh, NC.
Job Description: As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and management of the point of sale to start process, client experience, cost control, permitting coordination, and compliance enforcement. You will work directly under the OYL President to reduce the days from point of sale to start, provide accurate lot finishing budgets to clients, and ensure effective client communication. Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Meeting or exceeding division starts goals.
- Managing and tracking the point of sale to start process for NC Division.
- Manage and track the key exchange/escrow close out process.
- Establishing goals and metrics, and meeting or exceeding established metrics.
- Partnering with involved parties to track and complete pre-requisites of construction.
- Tracking the following milestones and tasks: deposits; lot feasibility; selections; structural selections; architectural modifications; confirm lot walks and lot finishing are per standard operating procedures; loan closing; and permit status.
- Maintaining starts tracker.
- Hosting starts meetings.
- Meeting with team members to confirm open tasks are being completed consistent with previously determined delivery dates.
- Ensuring customers complete their required vendor meetings prior to the pre-construction meeting.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned.
- Upholding and acting in a manner consistent with Caruso Homes Core Values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in custom homebuilding.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Salary Range: $80-$100k
