Job Description
Assist Manager and agents with day to day operations. Handles pre-blocking request, casino reservations, completes duties list, process non-guaranteed reservations and prints back-up reports. Responsible for balancing group blocks, express check-out, pre-registration and processing all motor coach.
Job Functions
- Identify, analyze, and resolve customer complaints or disputes and prevent re-occurrences.
- Provide feedback to managers regarding policies and procedures and coordinate services with bell stand and housekeeping.
- Possess strong knowledge and ability to operate hotel computer systems.
- Delegate work assignments, schedule and monitor staffing levels and team member breaks.
- Assist front desk clerks with balancing room types, meeting guest request and blocking special request.
- Generate reports daily.
- Clear due outs and oversee room status.
- Responsible for cash handling.
- Perform all hotel clerk duties as necessary.
- Ensure back to back reservations are completed in a timely manner.
- Prepare for group arrivals.
- Process all pre-registered rooms and ensure packets are ready for check-in when rooms are ready.
- Balance room types, group blocks and hotel availability.
- Work with housekeeping to clear room discrepancies and update room statuses.
- Knowledgeable of Hotel, Community and Special Events.
- Work with host, reservations, sales and other departments.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Job Specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 6 months hotel front desk experience.
- 10-key and cashier experience a plus.
- Must have working knowledge of basic office equipment, Microsoft Word and Excel, and be able to operate LMS and CMS Hotel Systems.
- Excellent communication skills, must be literate and fluent in English.
- Must present a polished, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
- Able to work flexible shifts as needed; to include holidays and weekends.
- Must be able to stand for duration of shift.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
