Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support a 24/7 tire production facility in Graniteville, SC. This role directly reports to the Area Maintenance Supervisor and requires expertise in maintaining and repairing various industrial equipment to ensure continuous operation of assigned production areas. Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair industrial production equipment, conveyors, pipeline distribution systems, and process control systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with various PLCs, networking/communications systems (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet), AC drives, motors, and automated controls.
- Calibration: Calibrate devices for flow, level, pressure, and temperature.
- Repair & Inspection: Conduct equipment rebuilds and repairs, inspect parts for wear and damage, and test machinery for safe operation.
- Technical Documentation: Interpret and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings to perform work.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Additional Tasks: Utilize hoists, lifts, hand and power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Multi-Craft Expertise: Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and electronic maintenance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience or 3 years plus an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance.
- Availability: Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts on a modified DuPont schedule, with flexibility to cover both day and night shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- PLC Knowledge: Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Electrical Systems: Familiarity with 480-volt and 3-phase motors.
- Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Proficient in maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
