A leading social media platform is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its team on a full-time (40 hours per week) contract basis for an initial 6 month term.
Title: Litigation Counsel (Secondment)

Hours: 40 Hours / Week
Duration: 6 Months (From 12/2/2024 until 6/7/2025)
Pay Rate: $97 - $110 / hr

Responsibilities:
- Ability to do general litigation in any area except Employment or IP, including Securities, Contract Disputes, User Harm Cases, etc.
- Manage and oversee litigation matters, including coordinating with outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Provide strategic legal advice to the company on litigation risks and opportunities.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation issues.
- Advise on pre-litigation disputes and develop strategies to minimize legal risks.
Qualifications:
- General Litigator with firm and in-house experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the United States.
- At least 5+ years, with preferences for 6-8 years of experience in litigation, preferably with experience in managing complex litigation cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
