The Role
They're looking for an Assistant Project Manager with multi-family experience to join their team. If you’re someone who enjoys staying hands-on, working with clients, and learning from experienced mentors, this is the perfect place for you. You'll play a key role in supporting their project teams as they deliver high-quality multi-family projects, with plenty of room to grow and move into new roles down the line.
What You’ll Do
- Support Project Delivery: Help manage multi-family construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on track and on budget.
- Work with Clients: Be a point of contact for clients, keeping them in the loop and making sure their needs are met.
- Coordinate Teams: Work alongside project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to keep everything running smoothly.
- Manage Schedules & Budgets: Help track timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the project is completed on time and within scope.
- Document Everything: Assist with paperwork, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and any other documentation that comes up during the project.
- Ensure Quality: Keep an eye on quality and safety standards to make sure the project meets all specifications and regulations.
- Problem Solve: Help identify issues on-site and work with the team to figure out quick, effective solutions.
Who They’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with a GC, ideally on multi-family projects.
- Client-Facing: You should be comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders, and know how to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Team Player: We’re looking for someone who’s collaborative, eager to learn, and excited to take on new challenges.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiar with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Project).
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple moving parts.
