DeltaV Engineer - 12 Month Contract – North Carolina
A Fortune500 pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in North Carolina are looking for several DeltaV Engineers to provide hands on DeltaV support at one of their sites in the Holly Springs area.
The DeltaV Automation Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting DeltaV control systems in a pharmaceutical production environment. This role involves designing automation solutions, managing upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The DeltaV Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and IT, to optimize processes and maintain high standards of operational efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and configure DeltaV control systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including equipment setup, system architecture, and network configuration.
- Develop and implement control strategies, process graphics, alarms, and other system functions.
- Create, review, and update Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Detailed Design Specifications (DDS).
- Install and commission DeltaV systems for new production lines, upgrades, and expansions.
- Conduct system validation, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Installation/Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ).
- Provide on-call support as required to address urgent operational issues.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working with DeltaV control systems, preferably within a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in DeltaV system architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with batch processing, automation protocols, and pharmaceutical production standards.
- US Citizenship
