TBG is partnered with a law firm in Hartford seeking a full time Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant. This position will be fully onsite.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and revise complex documents
- Prepare, draft, revise, and compare legal documents and standard correspondence.
- In this role you would assist attorneys and other legal personnel with administrative, organizational and research work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Preparing, editing, and proofreading legal documents
- High level of administrative abilities to support managing partner.
- Type, proofread, format, and edit correspondence, pleadings, memo
- Interact with clients and other firms on matters, as required
- The Legal Assistant will assist attorney(s) by providing clerical and research support services including document preparation and review; research, and file organization
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a law firm as an administrative/legal assistant. Litigation experience required.
- Corporate Real Estate/Business and Finance experience will be considered
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong typing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
