Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of project management, from pre-construction planning and budgeting to on-site execution and closeout.
- Estimating & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates, manage project budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
- Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and proactively addressing any delays.
- Client Relations: Be the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and building strong relationships.
- Teamwork: Lead project teams, collaborate with pre-construction and estimating teams, and ensure everyone is aligned on project objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work adheres to company standards and project specifications, delivering exceptional quality to clients.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on project status, financial performance, and key milestones.
The Person
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 years' experience in commercial construction project management, including at least 3 years in estimating.
- Proficient with construction methods, estimating software, and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of project management.
