Job Title: HR Clerk
Location: Lancaster, PA.
Position Overview:
Our client, a leading cup of noodle food manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (Spanish/English) HR Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate with foundational knowledge of HR practices and a strong understanding of confidentiality in handling sensitive information. The HR Clerk will support various HR functions, including maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment processes, and providing day-to-day administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the recruitment process by helping to schedule interviews, screening candidates, and maintaining candidate files.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding processes, including I-9 verification and collection of required documentation.
- Handle inquiries from employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications, documents, and reports as needed.
- Coordinate and assist with training sessions, company events, and other HR activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable labor laws.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Human Resources is a MUST.
- Experience: Prior experience in an HR support or clerical role preferred.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
Working Conditions:
- This role is based in an office environment within a food manufacturing facility.
- Typical hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
