Westward360 is looking to add a Licensed Fire Extinguisher Technician to handle fire extinguisher tagging and fire/life safety inspections at a variety of buildings. What you’ll do:
- Perform regular inspections of all fire and life safety equipment across a variety of scattered site properties
- Function test all devices and identify which are not functioning
- Make repairs to non functioning devices, or recommendations for repairs
- Inspect/test all fire extinguishers and retag or recharge as needed
- Complete inspection report, documenting all devices with photos
What you’ll need:
- Carry a valid FES license
- NAPFA certification a plus, must have working knowledge of NAPFA guidelines
- Must be able to perform physical work that sometimes involves heavy lifting
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to utilize an app-based software to complete inspections and work orders
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
