About the Company - We are currently recruiting for a System Administrator to join a growing Raleigh based client. The role will be vital in providing exceptional support and environment maintenance to internal users, as well as participating in firmwide projects and upgrades as they continue to grow.
Responsibilities -
- Provide support for internal users via ticketing system, phone, email and Teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Assist in configuring new servers and services following firm procedures and best practices.
- Perform routine system monitoring, backups, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Setup, configure and troubleshoot hardware.
- Help with racking equipment (servers, switches, cabling).
- Monitor and maintain LAN and WAN connections.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and help maintain network security.
Qualifications -
- Strong IT troubleshooting experience.
- Experience within Windows and Mac environments.
- Administration of O365, AD/EntraID.
- Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with backup/recovery processes.
- Understanding of PowerShell.
