Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor leads all maintenance activities (both machine and facility) and provides direction to maintenance department personnel while working safely and effectively.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Exhibit Safety awareness at all times, immediately reporting possible hazards or violations for corrective action. Promote and maintain good housekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Conduct safety audits.
• Perform all duties in compliance with Company directives and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and FDA, IMS, NSF, SQF requirements or other program requirements.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
• Arrange repair, both internal and external.
• Establish Preventative Maintenance programs for all production and facility equipment.
• Project planning and expedition thereof.
• Training and direction of maintenance personnel. Evaluate and identify gaps in their training.
• Mentor all maintenance employees by motivating and providing direction to help them achieve their goals and make a consistent effort to go above and beyond.
• Manage the maintenance labor and materials budget. Provide cost analysis.
• Utilize work order systems to manage activity. Manage spare parts and procurement. Use of Oracle.
• Make recommendations and champion projects for the advancement of machine and process efficiencies, costs savings, environmental compliance, and overall best practices.
• Utilize Lean tools to manage plant activities. Utilize root-cause analysis tools.
• Approve timecards and PTO requests in ADP.
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Site Manager/Production Manager.

Experience & Qualifications
Education: Completion of a relevant college or university program.
Experience: Technical and machine maintenance, 3 – 5 years supervisory, plastic processing, facility maintenance. Experience
Equipment & Machinery: Injection Molding, Blow Molding preferred.
Computer Experience & Software: Data entry, Excel, Outlook.
