The Project Manager schedules, dispatches and bids on ongoing and new lighting and electrical projects. The Project Manager will handle all administrative responsibilities and use effective communication with internal and external customers to get jobs done efficiently.
Job Duties:
· Manage, dispatch and coordinate schedule for field technicians and their weekly projects
· Provide administrative, technical, and logistical support for the field technicians prior to, during and after the jobs
· Assist the Director of the Projects Division to allocate project resources on a weekly basis
· Evaluate and determine staffing needs for each project
· Work on project bids, packages and submittals
· Supervise and audit of work tickets, timesheets, drive time, etc. submitted by technicians
· Administer and evaluate project plans and requirements
· Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
· Communicate with customers on logistics and progress
· Monitor and continually tracks project progress, tasks and deadlines
· Manage project budget
· Ensure quality assurance on all projects
· Manage project changes and interventions
· Present to The Director of Projects reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
· Evaluate and assess result of project
· Some travel will be required to job sites, but the position will be primarily located at the San Clemente office
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Must have experience as a Project Manager with an understanding of lighting systems
· Must have 4 years of experience in an office setting
· Must have experience working with a project management software application
· Must be proactive, detail oriented, and self-motivated
· College degree preferred
· Microsoft Office and Google Suite experience, especially Excel
· Critical thinking and problem solving skills
