Job Description:
The Loan Coordinator will oversee administrative aspects of loan processing, including document management, compliance checks, and client coordination. This is a customer-facing role that requires proactive communication, excellent organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail. You’ll work closely with loan officers and clients, ensuring that all required documentation is accurate and timely, and keeping applicants informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Review & Management: Gather, verify, and track documentation from loan applicants, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Data Entry & System Updates: Maintain accurate client and loan information within the company's systems, including Excel and Salesforce.
- Client Coordination: Act as a liaison between clients, loan officers, and third parties, ensuring smooth information flow and follow-up.
- Compliance Checks: Conduct periodic reviews to ensure all documents meet regulatory standards and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process Management: Track key milestones in the loan process, proactively notifying team members of any upcoming deadlines.
- Client Support: Respond to applicant inquiries, provide guidance on required documentation, and keep them informed about the status of their loan application.
- Reporting: Prepare status reports on loan application progress, flagging any potential issues and maintaining transparency with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in an administrative role; experience in loan coordination or processing is a plus, but recent graduates eager to build a finance career are encouraged to apply.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, proactive problem-solving, and tech-savviness to navigate various loan processing systems.
