Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager will oversee the daily operations of the HR department. This includes assisting with the hiring and interviewing of staff, addressing employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and leave, promoting a strong company culture and employee engagement, and providing guidance for the performance management system. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review, track, and document compliance with required training, continuing education, and professional development initiatives.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to identify necessary skills and competencies.
- Maintain current job descriptions for all roles within the organization.
- Conduct or arrange background checks and verify employee eligibility.
- Implement orientation programs for new hires and employee recognition initiatives.
- Execute routine tasks related to HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave administration, disciplinary actions, disputes, performance management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, directing complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies to align with best practices.
- Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in HR, talent management, and employment law.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Salary:
- $75,000 to $85,000 annually.

Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home after initial training.
- First couple of weeks: 4-5 days in the office.
- Flexibility to be in the office more than usual if needed.
Hours/Lunch:
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Friday
- 35-hour work week with some flexibility
Equipment Provided:
- Laptop, monitor, and keyboard will be provided for remote work.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in human resource management is preferred.
