We are seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Palm Desert CA!
Physical Therapist Assistant :
Assist the Physical Therapist in assessing patients' conditions and needs.
Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions based on treatment plans.
Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatments.
Collaborate closely with the therapy team to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and functional activities.

Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapist Assitant
Schedule: 5 eight hour shifts
Pay: $33 - $38 /hour

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions of the Physical Therapist Assistant Role:
Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist
Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
Qualifications:
Experience and Skills Required for Physical Therapist Assistant Position:
Associates Degree or equivalent from an
accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice required.
