Critical Care to join our dynamic team! At our facility, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and innovative environment for both our patients and staff.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement educational activities aligned with our mission, goals, and values.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing orientation processes.
- Facilitate formal orientation classes for new Nursing Department team members.
- Monitor and assess staff competency through direct observation and collaboration with nursing leadership.
- Train staff on new equipment and maintain accurate educational records.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in general medical/surgical settings, plus relevant teaching and clinical experience.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- NYS RN License required.
- American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
- Certification in a specialty area is a plus.
- Education: Master’s degree in Nursing required.
- Specialty Expertise: Critical Care experience is a must.
