We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Reporting Analyst to manage, analyze, and deliver data-driven insights that support organizational decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and availability of business reports and dashboards, contributing to operational efficiency and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management:
- Collect, organize, and manage data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems.
- Design and create regular and ad-hoc reports to support various business functions.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights.
- Automation & Process Optimization:
- Automate routine data extraction and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Develop scripts and macros (e.g., in Excel, Python, or R) to streamline workflows.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Present findings and reports to management and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain and improve reporting tools and systems, ensuring consistent performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot issues with data sources and reporting systems.
Key Skills
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VBA).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R (preferred).
- Familiarity with database management systems and ETL processes.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, MIS reporting, or a similar role.
