At Urban SDK, customer relationships are our top priority. We’re looking for a dedicated and personable account manager to maintain client accounts, serve as our main point of contact, and grow the accounts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. Applicants should also be proficient with conducting renewals, farming upsell leads, and closing businesses to reach quotas.
Objectives of this role
- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs
- Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships leading to increased customer retention
- Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
- Train and Onboard new customers, so they have a full understanding of the platform
Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
- Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs
- Meet retention and upsell quotas
- Train and successfully onboard new customers
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
Required skills and qualifications
- BA/BS required or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of SaaS experience, preferably with enterprise accounts
- Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
- Familiarity with the transportation technology, city planning, or civil engineering industry
- A track record of overachievement and hitting retention targets.
- Familiarity with analytics, databases, and smart city technology is a plus
- Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
- Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility
