DataStaff, Inc is seeking an IT Endpoint System Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity located in Cary, NC.
The position reports to the IT Service Delivery Supervisor and requires 100% onsite presence, with no remote work options.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line IT support for walk-up users with various technology issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of end-user IT problems & application issues
- Hardware break-fix
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Perform desktop and laptop imaging and deployment
- Collaborate with Tier 1 Service Desk team and senior administrators
- Occasional on-call-duty: 1 week a month
- Provide support for public safety applications such as Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) suite
- Other job duties as assigned

- Active Directory experience (3-5 years)
- Microsoft 365 experience (3-5 years)
- Single Sign-on, Okta if possible (1-2 years)

Technical Requirements
Candidates must be proficient in the following areas:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
- ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms
- Working knowledge of Active Directory (user and computer management)
- Single Sign On (Okta)
- Troubleshooting legacy applications
- Basic networking protocols and concepts (e.g., mail delivery, routing, LAN)
- Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Occasional support for Apple macOS
- Strong troubleshooting skills for iOS devices (iPhones, iPads)
- Mobile device management (Airwatch)
- Navigating Windows Server Operating Systems (2012–2020) and virtual server environments (Nutanix, VMware)
- Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops: primarily Lenovo, occasional Dell, Mac)
- AV equipment support (conference room setups, projectors, Cisco room kits)
