Our client is a horticultural supply, environmental, and waste management services company based in Florida. They specialize in composting facilities, soil blends for nurseries, and sorting facilities for organic waste streams. They are currently seeking an experienced HR professional to join their team.
Your new role
As the HR Manager, you will guide the company through employment law and HR functions, support HR across all acquisitions, and centralize ADP and HR functions. You will develop relationships with employees, integrate different sites, and ensure mutual business goals. Minimal travel is required, mostly day trips to different facilities in surrounding areas.
What you will need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in an industrial or facility-type environment
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practiced
- Startup experience - setting up the HR function
- Proven track record in HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Spanish strong preference
