We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our project team in the Bay Area. The MEP Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on the assigned project. This role reports to the Director of Mechanical and Electrical Services or an assigned supervisor.
The MEP Coordinator will collaborate with design consultants and key subcontractors to select the optimal equipment, manage the virtual build, and oversee on-site construction followed by a thorough commissioning process. The role requires familiarity with software tools such as Revizto, vPlanner, Procore, and Primavera for efficient project management. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as the role requires frequent interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and accurately interpret the project’s scope of work in the construction documents.
- Assess the project schedule to plan procurement and installation timelines for MEP materials.
- Provide weekly procurement updates to the project scheduler to ensure alignment with timelines.
- Create and maintain material and installation logs in organized spreadsheets, updating them weekly.
- Lead 3D CAD coordination meetings to ensure timely and effective processing of information among project stakeholders.
