Remote - Research Business Administrator
Pride Health is hiring a Research Business Administrator to support our client’s medical facility based in Pennsylvania. The position is Fully Remote role.
This is a 3-month contract-to-hire role with competitive pay and benefits and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location – Remote (Pennsylvania)
Length of Assignment – 3 Months (Possibility of Temp to permanent)
Pay Range - $33 - $38 an hour
Shift and Schedule - Fully Remote 8:30 - 5 M-F EST.
Job Summary

Job Duties
- This position works with a team of research administrators to provide support and management of a sponsored research portfolio for faculty/scientists in the Research Institute.
- This position provides an opportunity to manage fiscal and administrative aspects of federal and non-federal research grants including budget development for proposals, financial reconciliation, forecasting, closeouts, and preparation of analytical reports for PIs and other stakeholders.
- All tasks are performed by CHOP/federal and non-federal sponsor guidelines and policy, including Uniform Guidance, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) where applicable.
Requirements
- Education
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Work Experience
- At least five (5) years of related experience in research administration and portfolio management is Required.

- Preferred Licenses/certificates/registrations:
- Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
- Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC)
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (Excel).
- Advanced proficiency with enterprise resource planning, finance, and human capital management software (Workday).
- Intermediate proficiency with web-based tools.
- Intermediate knowledge of budgetary principles, practices, and procedures.
- Intermediate knowledge of Uniform Guidance.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, practice with a questioning attitude, and be proactive in seeking guidance when needed.
- Requires the ability to provide excellent customer service and work well within a team.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
