One of our clients is a leading company in the financial advisory sector, managing a substantial portfolio of assets. Their reputation is founded on delivering strategic insights, excellent service, and high-quality execution. They are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Investigator whowill play a critical role in safeguarding our client by conducting in-depth investigations into potential security threats, data anomalies, and technology use behaviors that may introduce risk. This is a hybrid position based in Westchester County, CT.
Senior Cybersecurity Investigator’s Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct thorough investigations of security events and incidents, analyzing data to uncover security threats and potential risks.
- Evaluate data anomalies, unauthorized access patterns, and other technology use behaviors to assess risk levels and recommend actions.
- Produce detailed investigation reports and analytics to support decision-making by security leadership, Legal, and HR teams.
- Develop investigative approaches to ensure comprehensive understanding and containment of security incidents.
Senior Cybersecurity Investigator’s Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM) are a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience with Epic systems, specifically in cybersecurity investigations, data analysis, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, using tools and methods to identify irregular patterns and potential threats.
- Demonstrated experience in incident investigation, forensic analysis, or behavioral analytics.
