Title: Manager Tax Reporting & Planning
Salary: $110,000 to $125,000 Bonus eligible
Location: Hartford County, CT
This successful US based publicly traded company, with multiple product lines in both the manufacturing and technology service provider segments, is seeking to hire a key self-driven, and talented individual to join its global tax team as a Manager Tax Reporting & Planning. The role will offer great visibility to senior management across multiple operating businesses, as well as excellent long-term career success strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities for the Manager Tax Reporting & Planning will include assisting the VP, Tax and Treasury in establishing corporate tax policies, and developing tax planning strategies to reduce overall tax expenses and exposure.
- Advising management on tax implications of transactions, identifying opportunities for tax savings, and making relevant recommendations.
- Performing tax reporting, planning, and compliance globally.
- Applying international tax rules for US reporting, including FAS 109 reporting, and FIN 48.
- Working with operating groups by advising on related tax issues and developing tax savings solutions.
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting; CPA or working towards it is a plus.
- 5-7 plus years of relevant experience.
- Combination of public and corporate tax, and manufacturing experience preferred.
- Global tax reporting, planning, and compliance experience required.
- Strong understanding of international rules for US reporting, including knowledge of FAS 109 tax reporting and FIN 48 required.
