StevenDouglas is searching for a Corporate Development/FP&A Director for a growing, private equity-backed organization with a fantastic mission/culture. This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of strategic growth initiatives and M&A.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed market research and financial analysis to support M&A activities and strategic growth efforts
- Develop comprehensive financial models and various analyses to evaluate potential acquisitions and investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Develop board materials, ad-hoc presentations, and detailed reports for the ownership group and C-suite team, delivering critical insights and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive aftermarket earnings and integration strategies post-M&A, enhancing overall operational efficiency
- Engage directly with senior leadership and C-Suite executives to align corporate development initiatives with company-wide strategic objectives
- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including lenders and advisors, to facilitate strategic transactions
- Execute ad-hoc projects involving operational enhancements and process optimization to support continuous improvements across service and product divisions
Qualifications:
- At least 5-8 years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or M&A, preferably within the agriculture or industrial sectors.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability in financial modeling, analysis and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
