We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and hard-working Cultivation Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Cultivation Technician, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our indoor cultivation facility. You will work closely with the Cultivation Manager and other team members to ensure that our plants thrive, and our production goals are met. This role requires a hands-on approach to plant care, facility maintenance, and environmental control to ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plant Care: Assist in all stages of plant growth, from cloning to harvest. Monitor and maintain plant health through watering, feeding, pruning, and general upkeep.
• Environmental Control: Monitor and adjust environmental parameters such as humidity, temperature, CO2 levels, and lighting to optimize plant growth.
• Nutrient Management: Mix and apply fertilizers and nutrients to plants as required to promote healthy growth.
• Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Identify and manage pests, diseases, and mold. Apply treatments when necessary in accordance with facility protocols.
• Harvesting & Post-Harvest: Assist with plant harvesting, trimming, drying, and curing processes, ensuring that product quality is maintained throughout.
• Data Recording & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of plant health, growth, and any interventions. Report issues and progress to the Cultivation Manager.
• General Facility Maintenance: Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the cultivation rooms, as well as general upkeep of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and adhere to state and local regulations regarding cannabis cultivation.
Qualifications:
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in cannabis cultivation, agricultural work, or a related field preferred. We are also open to candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of plant biology, horticulture, and environmental control systems. Familiarity with cannabis cultivation practices is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, bending, and moving around the cultivation space.
• Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on the health and quality of the plants.
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work weekends, and/or overtime as needed to meet the needs of the cultivation operation.
• Compliance: Ability to adhere to strict compliance guidelines in a regulated industry, including following all safety protocols.
