We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Water Infrastructure division to bring expertise, leadership, and passion for the industry to manage water-focused construction projects. If you’re ready to build your career in water infrastructure, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Overall Project Administration: Oversee contract management, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless execution of water infrastructure projects, from initial design through to completion.
- Safety Leadership: Develop and implement safety plans specific to water infrastructure projects, enforcing health and safety practices across the team and project site.
- Project Execution: Ensure that the project is completed according to the design, budget, resources, quality standards, and schedule, focusing on water systems such as treatment plants, pipelines, storage tanks, and distribution networks.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Understand client requirements, propose value engineering solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Contract & Budget Management: Negotiate contracts, manage progress payments, issue subcontracts, and oversee procurement of materials and services to maintain the project’s financial health and schedule.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring project milestones are met with minimal disruption.
- Commissioning & Closeout: Lead the final stages of water infrastructure projects, ensuring proper commissioning, testing, and operational handover to clients.
If applicable, for Design-Build projects:
- Design Oversight: Monitor design progress for compliance with regulatory standards, constructability, quality, and deliverable timelines specific to water infrastructure systems.
- Quality Control: Assist the project lead in developing a design-quality plan, ensuring the design meets or exceeds water infrastructure standards and regulations, while conducting regular audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in construction, with a focus on water infrastructure projects such as pump stations, treatment plants, and utility systems. Leadership experience and mentoring are preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in safety management and the application of health, safety, and environmental principles relevant to water infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge of water infrastructure construction methods, materials, building codes, and industry standards.
- Strong skills in planning, budgeting, organizing, and time management, with the ability to manage project costs and schedules for large, complex water systems projects.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and scheduling tools, with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies as needed for water infrastructure projects.
Paying up to $1300,000 Base salary.
Not including bonuses & other top line benefits such as a ESOP.
