Position Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Representative with experience in industrial sales to grow and expand our client base. This role focuses on building strong relationships within the industrial sector to promote our staffing services, create new business opportunities, and exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the industrial market, proven experience in B2B sales, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Develop New Business:
- Prospect, qualify, and generate new business leads within the industrial sector.
- Conduct market research to identify key industry trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships:
- Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers in the industrial market to understand client requirements.
- Regularly meet with clients to discuss staffing needs, gather feedback, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients.
- Educate clients on our staffing solutions and the value we bring to help them address workforce challenges.
- Present customized staffing solutions to address client requirements and drive operational efficiency.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with internal recruiters, account managers, and support teams to ensure successful client onboarding and placement.
- Provide market feedback to enhance service offers, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Track sales activity, forecast pipeline, and report on progress and metrics regularly.
- Use CRM tools to manage and update client and sales information.
Qualifications:
- Industrial Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience within the industrial sector, ideally in a staffing or recruitment environment.
- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Networking and Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels, from operational managers to executives.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to deliver compelling presentations and negotiate effectively.
- Self-Motivated and Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and maintain motivation to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software to track, manage, and analyze sales activities.
