Manufacturing Supervisor
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our client located in Morristown, TN. This role involves overseeing the Manufacturing Division to ensure the efficient use of facilities and staff. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $80,000-$95,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process, ensuring that performance and quality standards are consistently met.
- Work with engineers to design cost-effective manufacturing layouts and ergonomics for new product lines.
- Stay updated on best practices in manufacturing methods, technology, and equipment to maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify and address issues that deviate from established manufacturing standards; research and recommend solutions.
- Implement methods to reduce production costs.
- Review production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals are met.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
- Assist the Operations Director with long-term goals, expansion efforts, and the implementation of new technologies.
- Identify and provide training opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
- Organize departmental management structure and teams for optimal operations.
- Collaborate with the Operations Director and finance to develop the operating budget.
- Deliver progress and production reports to the executive team as requested.
- Participate in the evaluation of equipment purchases, maintenance, and layout.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of manufacturing employees.
- Assist in scheduling and assignments for the division.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Industrial Manufacturing field.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing policies and practices.
- Strong organizational and motivational skills.
