As part of IKOS’s exciting expansion, we’re looking for a passionate Railway Software Engineer to help drive our mission forward in Jacksonville, Florida. If you're ready to take on new challenges and contribute to the future of railway technology, we want to hear from you!
Responsabilities:
- Develop SW in C++ and Perl within MS Windows and MS visual studios ;Develop technical specifications and documents ;
- Assist with the development of CGI graphics for simulators ;
- Assist with overall HW/SW deployments ;
- Provide support to QA and testing teams ;
- Interface with external and internal stakeholders (ex. railroad authorities, remote engineering team in Europe) ;
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
We'd love you to apply if:
- You hold a Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field (required)
- At least 3+ years in software development in C++ (required)
- Good knowledge of railway signaling systems (preffered)
- Knowledge of I-ETMS (preferred)
- You have good communications skills
