Primary Job Responsibilities:
- The Technical Writer authors and edits standard operating procedures, user guides, quick reference guides, training manuals, after-action reports, and/or other IT-related documentation.
- Develop technical documentation in consultation with business analysts, systems analysts, testers, trainers, and programmers;
- Develops technical response to RFP's in collaboration with the proposal and business development team.
- Coordinate with organizational teams for quality control and final production of documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science), Professional Writing, or another language-related field.
- Experience writing technical documentation;
- Excellent writing and editing skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact frequently with technical research development personnel;
- Ability to work productively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment;
- Ability to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision;
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
