Quality Technicians Needed!
I am recruiting for a fantastic pharmaceutical company based in Michigan and they are looking for 2 Quality Technicians. This is a 3 month contract position with a view to extension or a possible perm hire. Role is fully on-site in Michigan.
The responsibilities Include:
- Test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
- Inspect certificates of analysis
- Collect samples for retains or third-party testing
- Ensure that the products meet the required specifications
- Investigate and resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate records of test results
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair on equipment as needed
- Calibrate equipment
- Clean and sanitize equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Maintain facility cleanliness and order
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance; or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or supplement industry preferred
- Strong understanding of GMP
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to be walking for 6+ hours of the day.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills:
- Knowledge of GMP regulations
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
- Knowledge of analytical testing methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to use laboratory equipment
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
Role: Quality Technician
Rate: Around $30-$40 but depends on experience - performance bonuses
Location: Wayne, Michigan onsite Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
