A Quantum Search Partners Client is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive growth and scale their government contracting business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling projects within the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Defense Health Agency (DHA), specifically from a smaller government contracting firm rather than a large integrator or consulting company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within DHA and DOD, leveraging existing BPAs and relationships
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of federal contracts that align with our services and solutions
- Lead the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification to proposal submission, ensuring compliance with federal requirements and high-quality deliverables
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers, program managers, contracting officers, and influencers within DHA, DOD, and other federal agencies
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their specific challenges and objectives
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a government contracting organization with annual revenues between $50 million and $70 million.
- Proven success in scaling a smaller GovCon business from $20 million to $70 million.
- Strong existing relationships within the DHA and DOD, with a focus on identifying and capturing new opportunities.
- Experience in the federal civilian sector, preferably in the health space.
