We are thrilled to be partnering with a rapidly expanding Accounting/Business management firm on their search for a highly qualified Account Manager to join their Sherman Oaks, CA team. Our client is a well established firm with offices in New York, New Jersey, California, and India with a niche in high-net-worth clients, of which a large percentage are in the entertainment industry.
Who you are:
You have at least two years' experience in bookkeeping. You have a high level of organization and ability to manage deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Record and manage transactions within the accounting system.
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct daily accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) tasks.
- Complete bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Reconcile investment accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Generate profit and loss statements that outline monthly income and expenses.
- Analyze financial performance, comparing actual income and expenses to budget projections.
- Oversee payroll administration processes.
- Follow up with production companies on outstanding fees.
- Coordinate with banks, credit card companies, auto leasing firms, service providers, and other vendors to resolve account issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Prefer B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or related field of study
- 2+ years’ experience in bookkeeping (working with high profile and/or high net worth individuals highly preferred.
- High level of organization and ability to manage deadlines,
- High level of knowledge of AgilLink/Datafaction-QuickBooks a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
