Assistant Project Manager (APM) – 9-Story Condo Project
The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in the successful delivery of a high-end, 9-story condominium project in Pompano Beach. This role requires close collaboration with the construction team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of the project.
- Assist in preparing contracts, processing submittals, RFIs, and maintaining project documentation.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, reporting potential delays or issues.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and local codes.
- Help manage permitting processes, inspections, and compliance with Pompano Beach building regulations.
- Track progress against milestones and assist with creating updates for stakeholders and clients.
- Enforce adherence to safety standards and job site cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in residential or mid-rise construction projects.
- Familiarity with Florida building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
