Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group is seeking an Interim Compliance Analyst to join our client’s compliance organization in a temporary to permanent capacity. The role involves managing a compliance & ethics hotline’s operations and related compliance processes, with the opportunity for permanent placement based on performance.
Overview: Interim Compliance Analyst
Company: Houston based Fortune 500 company; leader in food distribution.
Experience: 2+ years experience
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate corporate ethics hotline
- Receive, document, and organize incoming ethics and compliance reports
- Track and assign cases to appropriate stakeholders
- Monitor case progression and maintain detailed documentation through resolution
- Ensure timely follow-up on all reported issues
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Generate regular reports on hotline activity and case status
- Assist with compliance documentation and record-keeping
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Previous experience managing ethics hotline operations preferred
- Background in corporate compliance or ethics preferred
- Knowledge of compliance best practices and regulatory requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
