As the Senior Sales Specialist for Cryogenic Solutions, you will lead the commercial strategy within the Greater Boston area. Working closely with account management teams, channel partners, and business development, you will drive sales efforts to meet annual targets. This role emphasizes expertise in cold chain management, GxP environments, storage workflows, and supply chain needs for key markets, including Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT), Pharma, and Biotech.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed annual sales goals within your assigned region by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships across accounts, such as Cell & Gene Therapy organizations, Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies, Research Institutions, and Government Labs.
- Drive growth by developing and executing effective account management strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create and implement marketing plans, participate in local vendor shows, and design targeted campaigns.
- Partner with Inside Sales, Account Managers, Technical Sales, and Corporate Accounts as needed to ensure effective resource coordination and meet client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Life Sciences required.
- 5+ years of experience in life sciences capital equipment sales, ideally within CGT and sample storage markets.
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business acumen with excellent decision-making, analytical, and organizational skills, coupled with a consultative approach to client management.
- Confident communicator (written and oral) with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in life sciences, clinical diagnostics, and biobanking preferred.
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed (up to 50% based on territory).
- Home office based in the Boston, MA area.
