Job Title: Sr Finance Manager, FP&A
Reports to: Senior Director of FP&A
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be a strategic thought-partner across all facets of the business. You will be responsible for critical data collection, reporting and analysis that will be used by cross-functional leaders to guide decision making. The deliverables and insights you produce will have high visibility to the Leadership Team (C-Suite) and Board of Directors. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and detail oriented nature who has a knack for drawing insights out of data
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work cross-functionally in executing the brand’s vision and strategy to support growth and value creation
- Own the reporting process that regularly provides the Leadership Team with business performance updates, its implications to financial results and near-term outlook
- Work closely with departments heads to report and provide guidance on expense management
- Collaborate with Accounting in the period-end close process to ensure accurate and timely P&Ls
- Be a leader in the Annual Planning process. Help business leaders understand and model optimal resource allocation to support enterprise growth and goals
- Build, maintain and constantly improve financial and analytic models used to aid business decisions
- Support the Long-Range Planning process
- Provide ad-hoc analytical and modeling support as needed
- Partner with IT to optimize usage of data warehouse and ensure data integrity
- Manage and create Standard Operating Procedures for all responsibilities and upkeep regularly
REQURED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think independently, take corrective action, and to resolve inquiries and requests for information
- Strong technical capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Essbase and/or Vena Solutions a plus
- Convey a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage others and establish rapport
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with all levels within our client’s eco-system
- Ability to be adaptable to multiple priorities, sharp deadlines all while maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and propose creative solutions
- Ability to maintain all job-related information in a confidential and private manner
EDUCATION:
- B.A. in Finance, Accounting or Statistics
EXPERIENCE:
- Required Minimum: 5-10 years
- Advanced Excel modeling skills, experience with financial systems (Essbase, SAP, cloud-based ERPs), and general understanding of GAAP principles
- Experience in QSR, restaurant, multi-unit, franchise industry preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information such as procedure manuals, Company communications or governmental regulations
- Ability to Travel may be required to attend off-site training, meetings, and seminars
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods in one location which may be restricted to the employee’s workstation.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000 + Bonus
