About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Digital Content Manager to lead our digital content strategy for 12 consumer health brands. This role is pivotal in shaping how our products are discovered, engaged with, and purchased online across major platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and Instacart. You will drive the development of best-in-class digital shelf content and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve both short- and long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Content Strategy:
- Lead content strategies for 12 brands with a sharp focus on eCommerce digital shelf discoverability and conversion.
- Develop and manage annual content calendars for Sanofi consumer health brands.
- Content Creation & Optimization:
- Advance digital shelf content for 5,000+ product detail pages, 12 Amazon/Walmart brand stores, and 12 Instacart landing pages.
- Ensure SEO best practices for content to drive product discovery and maximize conversion.
- Budget Management:
- Oversee a $1.2MM content agency budget and $400k content syndication budget across Salsify, Syndigo, and Acosta.
- Content Syndication & Asset Management:
- Manage the dissemination of assets across PIM/DAM systems, utilizing platforms like Salsify and Syndigo for over 30 retailers.
- Maintain eCommerce FAQs, collaborating with the Consumer Care team to educate and empower customers.
- Team Leadership:
- Direct and develop an Associate Manager of Digital Content and an internal graphic design team for ad hoc projects.
- Lead agency partners and brand marketing teams to optimize creative production and processes.
- Performance Tracking:
- Define and monitor key performance metrics to showcase successes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and report on a content scorecard to inform business planning and strategy.
- Retailer Collaboration:
- Work directly with customer teams to optimize retailer platforms for product discovery and conversion.
- Educate retailers on external traffic-driving strategies.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay at the forefront of industry best practices, trends, and platforms.
- Upskill internal teams on cutting-edge eCommerce strategies.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience:
- At least 5 years in eCommerce content creation, management, and optimization.
- Expertise in content fit for platforms, including images, videos, and syndication.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PIM/DAM systems and syndication tools (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo).
- Strong understanding of SEO, content discoverability, and conversion tactics.
- Leadership:
- Proven ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and collaborate cross-functionally.
